Our Teachers and Staff
One of the key statistics parents are told to look for when selecting a preschool or infant care facility is low staff turn-over. With an average of twelve years working at Avalon Academy, our pre-school teaching staff is among the most stable and experienced in Houston.
Each Avalon Academy teacher receives on-going in-service training through staff meetings and at early childhood conferences and workshops held throughout the year. All of our teachers and staff members are trained in pediatric CPR, first aid and are screened with background checks.
Your child will remain with the same teachers throughout most of the day to develop a close and loving relationship.
Our teachers are available to share information each day. We also encourage you to speak to your child’s teachers or the Executive Director at any time with any concerns you have.
